Regular Entry – 4 Years

Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, with one of these – Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. AND Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Lateral Entry – 3 Years

Has a Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject. The students should have cleared the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First Year Engineering Programme along with the Second-year subjects. B.Sc. students shalt be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

B.Pharma – 4 Years

Passed 10+2 with compulsory Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics / Biology.

B.Pharma (Lateral Entry) – 3 Years

Passed Diploma examination in a Programme with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate Programme.

B.Sc NURSING – 4 Years

Minimum age of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought and 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board. Admission is based on counselling after qualification of entrance test.

Regular Entry – 2 Years

Minimum age of 17 years and maximum is 35 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. Also, Passed 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY from recognized Board.

BBA – 3 Years

Passed 10+2/equivalent examination in Science /Arts/ Commerce with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved class).

BBA – 3 Years

Passed 10+2/Equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks and Mathematics subject. (40% for reserved candidates).

M.Pharma – 2 Years

Passed B.Pharma from a recognised University and a minimum of 60%.

B.PT – 4.5 Years

10+2 in Science (Biology) passed with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (45% for SC/ST).

DPT – 2 Years

10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Science subjects.

• Foreign Nationals (15% quota – All India Quota only). The norms for state admissions will be different.

Qualifying Exam

• Candidates have to pass a recognised Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study.
• NIOS candidates are eligible for now subject to the matter subjudice in the court.
• Students from Foreign/International Boards are eligible if their qualify exam meets the equivalency determined by Association of Indian Universities (MU) as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

Subjects To Be Studied in Qualifying Exam

• Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests in these subjects) AND
• Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as prescribed by the NCERT.

Required Pass Percentage in 10+2 Or Equivalent

• Unreserved candidates and OCI, NRI, foreign candidates.
• Must have secured at least 50% in their qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology taken together.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) must have secured 40%.
• PwD candidates must have secured 45% in their qualifying exam.

Age Limit

Candidates must have completed 17 years at the time of admission or before December 31 of the year of admission.

B.Sc Agriculture Science - 4 Years

10+2 in Agriculture or Science (Biology with Science) of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education U.P. or any other examination in Agriculture recognised by a University.

B.Sc Biotechnology – 3 Years

10+2 in Science (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry), passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks. (45% for SC/ST)

B.Sc Medical Microbiology – 3 Years

Passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology.

Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc)– 3 Years

Passed a 3-year degree course with a minimum of 50%

B.ed Bachelor of Education – 2 Years

To have qualified in UP B.Ed entrance exam.
